Adjustable clip-on attenuator for controlling optical signal power.
The Clip-On Variable Fiber Optic Attenuator is a completely passive device, which works by physical attenuation of a 3mm jacketed singlemode cable.
It may also be used with smaller jacket sizes. However, attenuation performance may vary.
The clip-on attenuator can be attached at any point in a fiber cable, providing attenuation levels from 0 to >47dB at 1550nm, 0 to >21dB at 1310nm, and low back reflection.
This attenuator is good for hundreds of uses, and leaves no lasting effects on the cable
